So recently I have received at quote from a builder about our planned modicfactions.
I have attached it below.
What do you guys think about theprice?
I am conccerend about the amount they are charging for disposal.

Hi everyone,
we recently bought a house in SW11 and now want to furnish it, but God damn the prices of sofas and other furniture are extortionate.
I was wondering if anyone here ever imported furniture from other countries (China or India) to the UK.
If yes, then how was the quality and the process.
any feedback would be appreciated.

We bought from a big name retailer.....and it was still 13 week delivery and imported from China!

And it never really felt like the one we sat on in the shop.

We have now decorated so that we can buy individual chairs and we buy good quality second hand from ebay in a coordinating colourway when they pop up.

My DS is the same. He bought in March and moved from a furnished let so had almost nothing. He was gifted his bed by his landlady and the previous owners left the sofa as, presumably, they were planning to buy new. I think he has bought one more bed so far but that's all. The rest he's picking up second hand, slowly.
