House buy companies

Has anyone used a We Buy Any House type company? I am trying to sell a shared ownership home and losing the will to live! It's a beautiful house but not a lot of interest so far. After inheriting some money my DH and I have purchased a mortgage free cottage (considerably downsizing) and just want to offload my house as quickly as possible. Any experiences using one of these companies is greatly appreciated as I image there are a lot of pitfalls....
I don't have much capital invested in my home BTW.

Not sure that they buy shared ownership, too complicated.
Usual response is reduce the price (WBAH offer 60% apparently) or rent it out.

Ive heard they offer 60% and then often gazunder on the day of exchange etc - especially if they realise youre desperate...
I spoke with one once as was in a similar situation but after reading lots of reviews decided against. We had capital in the house though..

I doubt that these companies would want to buy shared ownership, nor would the housing association that owns the other share allow it. You’d have to check that.

As said above, reduce the price enough and someone will buy it. Or is there an option to sell your share back to the housing association or whoever owns the other share?

They’re absolutely sharks. You’d be better off cuttting the price 30% and selling on the open market

I enquired before I sold mine and it was a pittance and then I heard they offer less just prior to exchange. They are sharks.
