Cost of plastering

Following on from my last thread about the run down property I've fallen in love with, does anyone know how much it would cost in very ballpark figures to replaster a three storey five bed house?

I know its impossible to give any degree of accuracy I'm just trying to get ballpark figures for budgeting purposes.

Thanks

Depends - our builder charged about £500 to do one room but then got same plasterer to quote for whole house and it was £1200.

Also depends plastering that is needed - that was skim finish mostly but if you need to put sand and cement on damp areas or new plasterboard on ceilings, obviously much more.

It does depend on the state of the walls when you strip off paper etc.I would budget 500 per room to include the ceiling Although in a period house any fancy/specialist bits is more.I love new plaster though it is the thing for me that transforms a house Good luck x
