Don't worry I am having a proper one done

It's just I will not have many chances to see the building until a decision is made as to whether I can rent it or not

& as soon as I now I can rent it I need to start work

So I am

Measuring everything -
size & floorspace,
window sizes & positions,
doors sizes & positions,
garden (incl patio),

I'm not marking electrics as we are replacing them all

What else could be necessary?

I would do a really detailed drawing (I usually forget things instantly) eg check where you can get plumbing in etc for extra toilets (if needed) and make a not of it.

I don't know whether or not it is too late, or whether you are aware but at our local council someone from the childcare co-ordination team will meet you at as many properties as you want and tell you a) whether you would get OFSTED approval and b) what changes you are likely to have to make. They will send you a report as well. They do this free of charge for as many properties as it takes.

Sorry if I've just told you something you already know..

Still can't find a property here...

Our council won't unfortunately
I did a drawing - I wish I could show you the floor plan
