What colour should I paint the front door?

Please help me with some inspiration for paint colours for a front door.

I need a colour that will work with red brick but no restrictions otherwise - not on a street so no neighbours doors to match/clash and no conservations or anything like that.

what should I do?

My mum has a red brick house and her front door is a gorgeous deep teal colour.

Aaah thank you @Advocodo! The salesman tried to talk us out of the black surround but we dug our heels in 😂 We still love our front door and we actually get quite a lot of compliments in real life from delivery drivers etc, which is nice.

The front door at our last house was uPVC and this door is so solid and sturdy compared to that!

When we had a new front door on our last house - victorian brick - we had it done what i would call "tardis" blue. That's not the proper name! It made us very happy! The people providing abd installing the door did it for us - so at least we didn't have to do it ourselves.
