Combination ceiling fan and light for bedroom

Anyone installed one of these?
We're currently on holiday in a v hot country and the B&B we are staying in doesn't have air-conditioning but the ceiling fan is very effective and silent. I'd love to install one in readiness for the lovely warm summer that will hopefully arrive one day.
Recommendations needed please

We’ve had them for years - make the hot summer nights so much better and always get a whole night’s sleep. The ones we put in were from a variety of online providers but the one in our bedroom is from Argos, wasn’t very expensive, looks exactly as we wanted and is very effective. It’s now 7 years old. Thoroughly recommend!

I have Fantasia Ceiling fan/lights and it is an absolute godsend during the hot summer days. The only thing- the light from the fan really isn't enough for our bedroom. I installed spotlights on either side and it is perfect. I am a happy diyer, but had to ask an electrician to extend the line. Wired the lights myself.

We live in the Us and they are pretty standard in most bedrooms and many living rooms here. You do need to upgrade the box you hang the light fixture from though as the fan light combos are much heavier, and make sure you get one with the light under the fan or you are going to have a flickering light effect when both light and fan are on

Yes, we have them in our living room and bedroom (UK South East), they are a godsend in the summer when it's hot but they we use the bedroom one year round. We got ours from Amazon and DH installed them.

Light is good, but we only use it if we are looking for something as it's very bright!

Good point about making sure the weight is supported. I'll be using an electrician to install

I'd second the Fantasia fans, they are wonderfully quiet too, as much noise as the hum of a modern fridge. https://www.universal-lighting.co.uk/shop-by-brand/fantasia-ceiling-fans/ so easy to sleep through during the warmer nights.
