White paint for dark living room

I'm about to move in with my partner into a top floor flat. The living room is a decent size but only has a small window so is on the dark side. I'm lost in a sea of 'best white paint'.

So far the most mentioned are Dulux Timeless, Almond White, F&B Wimbourne White and Slaked Lime. I read Jasmine White can have a green tinge? Want to avoid anything too yellow or grey but want it warm. Don't mind it erring beige-y.

Any recommendations?

I have jasmine white , I wouldn’t say it has a green tinge.

Have you looked at dulux light and space? It's specifically made paint for that sort of room, there's a good few to choose from too 😊

I have after seeing a thread on here about it. I'm going to see if I can get testers as I like the sound of them but partner thinks it's 'gimmicky' and expensive 🙄.

F and B White Tie.

What direction does the window face, though?

So what does he want? To paint the entire room without considering what a paint looks like in situ and hate it for years?

It's north facing. He can be overruled 😉

Little Green "Hollyhock" or "Joanna".

We have just painted our north facing extension Dulux white Cotton. It’s been described as a warm white. I really like it but would add that we also have west and east windows so it’s not really a dark room. Whatever you do don’t get Dulux White !it’s as that is a cool white.

Thanks all. Heading out today to get testers.

White cotton is a nice white, Timeless is your classic cream. (We have rock salt, I think it's a fab colour but definitely grey.)
