Reasonable cost for roof repairs, south east?

Hi there,

I’m buying a house with roof problems that have caused leaks.

Needs all guttering, soffits and fascia’s replacing, main roof needs underlining and needs new downpipes, flat roof extension needs fully retiling as wrong tiles were laid. Surveyor identified all this as causes of leaks.

Any idea of cost from work you’ve had done yourselves would be greatly appreciated to inform price reduction negotiations.

3 bed 1930s semi, Herts.

Fantastic. Much less than I expected.

That sounds like a big job. For a 3-bed semi, I’d estimate anywhere from £8k–£15k depending on materials and who you hire. Definitely worth getting quotes to use in your negotiations.
