a girl at work has just lost her rented flat and everything in it
the property developers next door dug out their basement with what seems like no involvement from structural engineers. their house then fell down. the whole street had to be evacuated and my workmate was allowed back into her flat for 30 minutes to try to retrieve some stuff.
seems like that flat and everything in it is lost. luckily, i believe no one was hurt. don't know about the other properties in the street.
i can't believe these people, they could've killed loads of people. so
