‘Short’ but smart toilet?!

I put the waste pipe in the wrong place in our new toilet…🙄 very small area for toilet and cloakroom basin. So am looking for a good quality (but not ultra expensive) toilet which doesn’t stick out further than 650mm max or we will be bumping our knees on the wall. Because it is very visible from the side (another mistake) I would prefer to have something that doesn’t have too many details for dirt to lurk. Ideally a back to wall if I can get that to fit. Usually a fan of traditional style, but if we can’t get that then something simple. Anyone got any advice/ideas? Thanks!

Do you mean it will be facing towards the right in this pic? I moved my loo, and it's now plumbed in with the waste pipe running from the side, is that an option?

We had the same issue (tiny toilet, classic look) and after so much research ended up with the Burlington Riviera close coupled toilet. It’s 660cm so might not work for you, but I honestly think you’d struggle to find shorter. https://www.bathroomsuppliesonline.com/burlington-riviera-close-coupled-closed-back/?aditem=27386&gref=79196658647&gdev=m&gloc=1006886&gadsource=1&gbraid=0AAAAACuCRR77O5vwVUPE-KlvLbOHGPkW&gclid=CjwKCAiA34S7BhAtEiwACZzv4WprwLw0eMNcsxom4jb5uQ4R8-wc8Mh4B7OmxNDsEoZoArK3nniSaBoCBeMQAvD_BwE.

Im not sure about the layout of your bathroom sink wise, but one way we made it work for us was by cutting down the size of the sink too. This sink matched, is ultra slim and saved knocked knees: www.victorianplumbing.co.uk/burlington-traditional-wall-mounted-curved-cloakroom-basin-p13?s_kwcid=AL!15853!3!!!!x!!&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD_SoLbLp98RsPLKvez-T81wcW1YY&gclid=CjwKCAiA34S7BhAtEiwACZzv4VOjkHy5zQ5hIr4uCGoC8QjK0qeuEQ64e1o7azWBlFT3ZStejHa6pBoC4boQAvD_BwE

Not the prettiest, but meets the brief
this

Thank you all! Love look of the Burlington and would just about fit… yes it would be on left of room in photo, facing right.
Second one gives us more room and fits simple brief! Going to check with plumber whether both will fit

This one is 635cm long and might be the style you're after

Other "short projection" toilets are here too, but look more modern.
