anyone know Priestcliffe? Taddington? Miller's dale? between Buxton and Bakewell?

despite growing up probably 10 miles away I really don;t know the area. anyone know it? bit of a long shot really seeing as there are probably only about 50 people who live there...what's it like? is it very bleak and high up?

I live in Buxton, don't know Priestcliffe particularly sounds high! Taddington nice but quite high up have friends who live there, nice primary school. Any help??

thanks LL - we're going to look at a house there at the weekend. Taddington would be the school we would use - it gets a v. good off-sted. I grew up in Longstone (near Bakewell) and then Grindleford (closer to Sheffield) and I never really ventured west of Bakewell...
