Can I request a copy of the contract before exchange??

Haven't exchanged contracts yet but hopefully nearly there.

I signed the contract today with my solicitor as a witness. It probably sounds bonkers but I didn't read it properly (only the basics, names and price) and now worrying I might have missed something. Sort of felt a bit rushed as she was waiting for me to sign and get on with things.

Can I ask for a copy before we exchange?

Yes, it's technically your document - just ask your solicitor.

Did you not get a draft copy right at the start. I have always had one to check details are correct. I would scroll back through your emails as I know my solicitor often sends lots of documents together.
