How much does it cost to move in Scotland?

As other threads we have explored alot.of option to doing up our home, moving etc.

Has anyone who already has a mortgage and moved able to give a rough proce of how much all solicitor fees, estate agent fees etc came to when moving

f you’re moving from outside of Scotland, bear in mind stamp duty(LBTT) is significantly higher here.
From memory, our moving costs on a 415K property (selling and buying) came in at around £25k. Estate agent fees are about 1% of the sale price. This was a few years ago however.
