Best bed size for the room?

I am moving house and the master bedroom is in the small side: 3.80 X 3.05 m. My current super sized king bed will probably take up most of the floor space. Will a king bed work or best to just get a double?

Is there any fitted furniture in the room and what are the available floor space measurements?

Could you just have the bed in the bedroom and a separate dressing room?

No fitted furniture, the measurements above are of the whole room. And no space really for a separate dressing room as it's a 3 house and have 3 teens/preteens ( the younger 2 will be sharing!).

Although we do have fitted storage in the hallway that I can use....but obviously not ideal

My room is 3.45 wide and feels too tight with a double bed and IKEA pax wardrobes. You need 600 to 800 either side of the bed, and opening wardrobe doors are 500mm so space with duvet is a challenge.
You have an extra 350mm so I'd say a double is nice. You could squeeze in a king but would feel a bit cramped.

If you went for a built in wardrobe with sliding doors you would gain a little space and a king size bed would work.

You won't be regretting the lack of floor space, when you are trying to sleep in the night with potential others climbing in to a double that is already occupied by 2 people. You spend around a third of your life in there, maximise it. xx

Still, too old to be climbing in to bed with their parents!
