Did you bother to seal tile grout? Did it make a difference?

I've just had my bathroom re-tiled, the tile shop recommended I use a grout protector, like this https://www.ecoprotec.co.uk/product/wall-floor-grout-protector/
Has anyone used one of these products? Did it make a difference to how long the grout kept looking good for? TIA!

Grout IS a sealant. They're just flogging stuff.
