Hi

We're going to move to Leeds. Any suggestions of areas? I have a secondary age child and two primary age children so not ideal as have to find good primary and secondary schools...

Any advice gratefully received.

Thanks

S

Does it have to be Leeds itself or would you look at surrounding areas? I live just south of Leeds and the schools round here are really good. (I commute to Leeds for work.) Don't know much about schools in Leeds, but there are several Leeds MN-ers, so I'm sure you'll get more replies soon. Am going to bed now, so sorry if I don't get back to you tonight, but I'll look at this again tomorrow. Good luck for the move.

Guiseley (LS20) has at least one very good primary and a good secondary school. It's a way out of the centre of Leeds by car but on a train line. Rawdon (LS19?) also has good primaries and a good secondary. Other places to consider in north Leeds could be Adel, Alwoodley, Roundhay. I don't really know south or east Leeds that well but am sure someone else who does will be along soon!
