I know twill be pricey. But there is a family gift in the offing to help us possibly. Value of house dictates as well.
Am seriously seduced by the alno kitchens at john lewis.
No idea what they charge am thinking not much off £15k prob or poss more.
I previously hearted ikea and would still settle for that but... You know!!!

My mum is a bit new money showy though so full of unneccesary things and quite glitzy but functions brilliantly and looks amazing if I'm honest. It is a mushroom colour and the worktop is some sort of glass i think Only seen it once Super duper ovens etc very swish

We have an alno and love it. Don't remember the cost as it was part of total house refurb/extension, but way under £37k.

Was better priced than John Lewis of Hungerford who we also got to quote.

And interestingly, not a world away from B&Q's quote

We have a new John Lewis kitchen. It's lovely, brilliant quality, but the fitter was a pain in the backside, kept cutting corners and then having to come back when we moaned, including a flood on Christmas Eve and the fitters who installed the granite cocked it up majorly and tried to cover it up rather than admitting it. We had months of arguments with John Lewis trying to get reasonable compensation, they did not handle the situation well at all, v disappointing customer service.

But the kitchen is nice. ££££ though.
