Suggestions for climbing / rambling rose

Hello
I am looking for suggestions on climbers to cover a large wall. Needs to be evergreen, do well in part shade and ideally have a longish flowering season. I was thinking of climbing or rambling rose. Are there specific types that do well in the climate in London / SE? Are there nurseries in London where I can ideally buy something mature that has already grown to a certain height on say a trellis and is potted? I know very little about gardening and have limited time to take care nlmyself but do have a gardener in occasionally who seems unable to advise on where to source.

Your suggestions will be much appreciated! Thank you.

There are hardly any evergreen roses and most roses dont flower all year. Ramblers give the most coverage but normally only flower once. One way of having more flowers is to grow a rambler or climber which will flower spring/summer then grow a late flowering clematis through it for autumn colour.

david austin has a very good website for roses. A lot of their roses will repeat flower but most of them are shrub roses. They do sell a lot of old roses including climbers and ramblers as well.

banksia lutea is almost evergreen with no thorns and a rambler which can get bib with pale yellow flowers but it flowers early although can repeat later if you are lucky.

I would suggest something from David Austin, I don't think you can ever go wrong with one of their roses.

This one might suit.

I've got banksii,it has lots of thorns, pretty yellow flowers, slight scent, long flowering season. Rambling rector, tiny beautifully scented white flowers, early flowering, not as long season as banksii. New dawn pale pink slightly scented climbing, repeat flowers. I have a lot of rugoses which I let climb, long season scent,do well in part shade, pretty much evergreen. Zephirine droun is a possibility for part shade. The roses I inherited I grow different clematis through them for colour during the deciduous period

Thank you- very helpful suggestions here. I now need to look for plants that gave grown a bit. I don't mind thorns since the wall isn't in an often visited area but I look at it from my kitchen window and would love to see foliage rather than a blank wall. I shall read up a bit on David Austin.
