Replacing shed windows glass? DIY query (with pics)

I bought a house a few months ago. The previous owners had boarded the shed windows as one glass panel was missing.

I removed the board & now I am wondering if I can also source & replace the 2 glass panels myself or if I need help from a handyman.

Has anyone done that? what did you use to fix the glass panels?

Pics below showing what the windows. Any advice most welcome!

Use plastic. You can get them cut to size and they're less scary to fit - and less likely to get smashed!

Thank you @OldTinHat.

Yes that sounds like a good option :).

Kind regards,

Fabienne

Or use cardboard as a template to get the right size. It really is not that difficult to do if you prefer glass.

@Whataretalkingabout

That's a good idea to try a cardboard template to get the right fit. Will do that.

I think I prefer dealing with plastic rather than glass :).
