My mortgage application is being submitted tomorrow with Leeds and it says on their website that it's 12.5 days turnaround for offers. The survey has been booked in for the 13th August which is the earliest the surveyor could come anyway but now I'm wondering if the lender will respond before then. I'm not worried about the application being declined, although you never know. But I also don't want to waste money on a survey incase it is. Also don't want to keep pushing things back either, it's already such a long process. It's so hard to time things correctly!
What has everyone else done? Paid for the survey first and hoped for the best with the mortgage or waited until the offer came through?
