Bathroom and kitchen vinyl peel off flooring

Hi all,

I live in a private rented flat.

The kitchen and bathroom have tiles and it gets dirty extremely quickly and I get veryyyy annoyed by the dirt that always accumulates on the tiles constantly. I saw other houses where there is vinyl flooring and it looked so much easier to clean and stays clean!!!

I have been looking into vinyl peel off flooring as a temporary solution as I don't think we are really allowed to put anything anyway as it's a private property but to be honest they hardly ever come to check and that's why I would prefer peel off ones and just explain to them that I can't deal with the tiles as its too slippery etc.

So please if anyone has any suggestions as to peel off vinyl floor tiles or stickers I'd really appreciate it.

The adhesive on the back of those stick on vinyl tiles is really, really strong and I think you would have an absolute nightmare trying to get them back up again and removing the residual glue. They are also really fiddle to fit.

You might be better off buying some oversized vinyl and tucking it up at the skirting and corners so it sort of overlaps a bit.

I have to live with similar and I hate it too.

Just lay vinyl flooring on top of it you don’t have to stick it down and can just roll it up when you leave
