Play room floor

Can anyone recommend some easy clean, durable but attractive flooring for a play room please? It's going to be quite long room with reasonable light.

I thought about rubber flooring but would that be quite cold?

DS loves to paint and do all the usual messy, mucky stuff so I need to find a flooring that will take the strain and not be too hard to clean.

Any ideas, please?

Marmoleum?
at www.forbo-flooring.co.uk
Might be a bit pricey though.

how about underfloor heating and ceramic parquet?

looks like wood but is tiles. Can't get scratched and you can have underfloor heating so its cosy...we have it and its brilliant. everyone walks in and says...what a beautiful wooden floor!

look at www.porcelanosa.com/....you'll need to look under selection pof products and then at parquet.

not cheap unfotunately

There are some great click laminates which look like slate or ceramic tiles when you lay them, and are suitable for areas that could get wet too! They are in B&Q.

Amtico would be perfect, though quite expensive.
