hi, I want to buy the traditional looking radiators but not ultra bulky: example here - https://www.victorianplumbing.co.uk/keswick-cast-iron-style-traditional-2-column-white-radiator-600-x-592mm?categoryId=2892&sku=2CWHZ6X592&preSelected=true

How much did you pay for your radiators? I am baffled as to how much they should cost

thank you!

The one you have linked to is £200.
It depends on how large a radiator you want and this depends on what btu you need to heat each room.

If the current radiators heat the space then the easiest thing to do it's measure the width and height of your current radiators and use that to work out the btu of the current radiators by googling similar ones online. The bru should be in the product description.

The one in your link is pressed steel radiator, which looks a bit "budget" to me. Proper cast ones are around £300 to £600 but look far better, and worth the investment in high visibility areas i.e. hall and living room.

I bought a couple of 1500mm x 800mm ones a couple of years ago for £1100.

Maybe something like this might work for you?

that looks about right to me, I bought a similar one in black for my hallway and looks lovely. I paid about £170 and wasnt disappointed. I have replaced two double modern ones, one like your photo and one tall one for the kitchen and the latter was the most expensive at £245 so dont need to spend fortunes.

dont forget to add the cost of valves to match and any pipework that needs doing if its not the same as the old one.
