Hello!

I was wondering if anyone here has used Avant Homes my move made easy or another builders equivalent for when selling their house?

Just looking for other peoples experiences

Thanks

hi, yes i did use the MyMove thing with Avant. Worked really well, and was very easy. Basically they just sorted the estate agent and paid the fees. Simples!

If you can, try and attribute a value to the incentive. As in, if it's this scheme vs having stamp duty, moving costs, sols fees, flooring etc covered then you might be better off taking another incentive.

Estate agent fees usually run from £0 (Purplebricks) to 1-2% of sale price depending where you are in the country. Dealing with the estate agent isnt actually that challanging, Avant will just be the middleman...i personally wouldnt attach any value to that at all

Amazing, I know it’s not the same as part exchange and have heard that your property can be down valued this way, but I take it you found the valuation from the estate agent that came out was alright?

The estate agent gave a fair offers over price (we are in scotland) and we got two offers to choose between. Seone posted about incentives etc - that's separate to using my move, abd you should certainly negotiate. We got half our LBT ( like stamp duty) , flooring, shower . There was already a kitchen.
