sorry Cod..thought you were being short-signted..

pattymc · 07/04/2008 18:21

keep expecting to see Kevin McCloud peeping out from nowhere in roll neck with zip jumper.
cna't say I'm a big fan but wouldn't say no and nicer than my house!

donnie · 07/04/2008 18:24

I only like houses with lots of books in them.

That one is very fancy but tasteless.

Nbg · 07/04/2008 18:25

Well whoever owns it obviously doesnt have children.

White sofas, white walls and no finger marks whatso ever on the glass.

jo25 · 07/04/2008 18:30

I love it, i want it not often i find houses i adore but this one is so gorgeous, and i have to add i quite like the bbike and it would have to stay but then bikes are a passion of mine.

Fullmoonfiend · 07/04/2008 18:30

sniff. It is obviously not even a proper motorbike. A proper motorbike would drip drip drip oil all over that wnacky floor.

moreJellothanJlo · 07/04/2008 18:33

way too small for me....sorry

lizziemun · 07/04/2008 19:46

No I don't like modern houses.

Much perfer Lucycat house.

NomDePlume · 07/04/2008 19:50

I have the exact same gloss floor as the one in the OP and it is a FARKING NIGHTMARE. On the whole OP house does nothing for me.

Cheshire one does v little for me either.

I do, however, like the Kent Bunker

CrackerOfNuts · 07/04/2008 19:50

The one Katz linked to looks like the house that was in tha programme about that girl that woke up from a coma.

SparklyGothKat · 07/04/2008 20:02

their rug is from Ikea!!

hifi · 07/04/2008 20:08

lucycat, yours has candlewick things around the loo and basin, dont do it.

BrummieOnTheRun · 07/04/2008 20:09

Hot tub = swingers

you might want to check out your potential neighbours carefully

Tutter · 07/04/2008 20:09

expat, methinks you are confused wrt lease/freehold

Lucycat · 07/04/2008 20:09

i know - weird!

they would be chucked out clearly!

hifi · 07/04/2008 20:11

why would you have a 1.5 mil house with such cheap fixtures and fittings? i would need to gut it,has those £6.88 wavy mirrors from ikea, yuk.

Wonder if dh would consider a move to Sheffield .

Hulababy · 07/04/2008 20:26

I don't like the way it looks on the outside at all, but inside is lovely and very me I reckon. Nice area but a bit far out I reckon really.

Mind you get more for your money there than you do in our area, that's for sure. House at top of road (you know the one I mean Katz) is up for £1.1m and it is def not worth it. No where near as big and def not my style. And then those new builds near the golf club, up for £900k to £1m - they are so close together and with so little land, and don't look very big inside either.

The Hallam area of Sheffield is the 3rd wealthiest place in the Uk now, above most other city areas.

katz · 07/04/2008 20:30

i just love it, and we would have to find space for all our books.

Hula - i sent you a link to it on facebook! i spotted it driving back from dronfield on sunday and didn't have a clue how much it would be or that something like that existed in sheffield

I don't like it that the swimming pool is so open, looks like my local leisure centre.

Also the whole house probably has the lovely smell of chlorine.

Jackstini · 07/04/2008 20:32

Wow - my dh would looooove both of those houses!
This one is closer to us though www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-20502659.rsp?pa_n=1&tr_t=buy

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/04/2008 20:46

Ooh that's nice as well Jackstini.
Wish you could get something like that at that money down here. Would cost at least 3 times as much here.

Jackstini · 08/04/2008 12:17

Oh well - I can't afford it up here either - nice to dream though!

twinsetandpearls · 08/04/2008 12:20

They need to aort out the trailing wires in the tv room in katz property.
