Does your American fridge freezer sit flush with your units?

Or does it stick out?

I don't want it to stick out but they're all so deep?! Will it look awful or is it the norm?

FF needs to be in a run of units.

They usually stick out, if you want it not to you just have to have a gap between the units and the wall at the back to allow for the extra depth.

If you don't want it to stick out you'll also have to factor in space within the unit to open the doors. Normally the FF sits out so the doors can open on the units either side as you'd be surprised how fat those doors are and how much space they need

You look to buy a counter depth fridge freezer if you don’t want it to stick out.

Exactly this.

We ended up going for a tall fridge and tall freezer that were then joined together so look like one appliance, it's amazing, there is so much capacity and it runs flush with the counter

That would have been a great idea if I could fit them in, but we're looking at the more slimline ones.

Tbh we don't need family size capacity though.

Ours sticks out. As mentioned above it has to so the deep doors can open. It looks fine to me but maybe it doesn’t!

Ours is supposedly counter depth. But sticks out about 1/2 an inch or so. It might be Dh hasn't pushed it to the wall, who knows.
We got it from AO the depth is 64 or 65 cm. it's a HAIER.
