Making an offer - wait for mortgage in principle?

viewed a property we love last thing on Friday, haven’t yet got MIP but trying to sort today (mortgage advisor worked out our finances so it’s affordable and not a stretch so don’t anticipate any issue?

Do I send a “holding” email to estate agents saying we intend to offer, or do we just hold out until we’ve got the MIP? Or do we offer without the MIP and forward it on later?

We did one online? Can you do that? I would definitely let them know your offer but say that you're waiting for the AIP. They may not take you seriously till they have it though.

As PP said, I would look at doing one online today. It takes about 15mins, you don't need to take out your mortgage with the bank you get the MIP with and they don't do any hard searches to affect your credit rating.

I don’t think you mean a mortgage in principle as they can be done almost immediately. Do you mean a mortgage offer?
