Roof plant!!

Hello,
We bought our house and the garden was majorly neglected, with a plant growing up the house and onto the roof. We had this removed and have sprayed the ground where the plant was and it hasn't grown back.
We've had a roofing company out to fix the loose tiles it caused.
This spring there are a few stray sprigs of the plant that have flowered on the roof, the plant itself isn't growing, it seems like the whole plant wasn't removed from the roof.
Am I better off getting the roofers back out or should I contact a gardener?

I'd get a roofer. Tiles may need to be removed and replaced in order to get at the plant roots, at least everything should be replaced properly by a roofer.

Thank you! The roofers came out and replaced a few tiles last time that had come loose but they did that in winter so there wasn't anything growing that they could see. Hopefully the tiles are all okay this time
