Any electricians about? Ground (not earth) wire

I am a competent DIYer but I’ve only really replaced like for like with light fittings and switches. I bought this light fitting the other day, it came with nothing except the wires and bracket.

My current fitting has an earth wire but this one is double insulated and doesn’t have one, however it does have a ground wire. My understanding is that we don’t really use these here but when they are used they are wound round a screw in either a metal back plate or a bracket so the fitting grounds it (not the other way around).

My questions - as it’s present, should I connect it to the bracket? There is no dedicated hole or screw for the ground wire. And how come the screws holding the fitting up (that go through to the front of the fitting) wouldn’t do the same job?

Its a metal fitting so needs to be connected to the earth.

Ah just noticed the double insulated sign , so technically it doesn’t need earthing.

It doesn’t need earthing but I’m stumped about the grounding wire 🤔
