Old wood burning stove - how much?

We've got an old cast iron slightly rusty large wood burning stove. How much do you reckon they go for? The costs look so different on ebay and the like. I'm not even sure it works anymore. We just want it gone but unsure if it might actually be worth quite a bit!

They can go for a few hundred, really depends on what it looks like. There is definitely a market for ones that people fix up, so doesn't need to be in working condition, but of course that would affect price. Check your local selling pages on Facebook to get a feel for price.

Between £50 /£100 because it would by for a budged diy job

no decent installer would touch 2nd there all supposed to have certificates nowadays

It’s definitely worth a punt on Facebook. The biggest cost when I bought a stove was installation (£1800) compared to £600 for the stove which was a Charmwood 4kw on sale as ex display. It might actually be worth contacting a couple of local stove people as they might take it off your hands if they know anyone looking for a stove.
