We currently live in London and are considering a move out to Old town Stevenage. We’ve spent a bit of time mooching around there to get a feel of the area because we have family quite close there and we really like the feel of it.
we have adult children so don’t need schools, but just want somewhere nice outside London and near family.
i would like to know what its like from a local point of view ? We are seriously considering this from a future proofing angle, so heading into retirement etc
our budget is around the 500k mark.
we like the coffee shops etc and stumbled into a church book fair the other day and everyone was really friendly.
we just want to know what its like to live there on a daily basis.
