Rough Areas in Consett in Durham County

Hi there, please if you could let me know the rough areas (high crime areas) to avoid in Consett for living. Thank you.

I'm sure this is going to one of those where people tell you there is good and bad everywhere, which is probably true. I grew up in Consett and haven't lived there for a long time but my parents still do. They live in the Delves Lane area and haven't had any issues that I am aware of. have you anywhere in mind?

thanks for reply, No I haven't but Consett or County Durham is going to be a place where I never lived before. so just wondering if there are any well known rough areas to avoid .

I probably haven't lived there recently enough to say. There have been so many new builds in the time I have been gone. Good luck with your move. You do realise Consett can be bloody freezing when the rest of the country can be in the grip of a heatwave😀

oh yes, lived in Glasgow for couple of years for my degree and it was mostly windy, overcast and cold, so i can relate that. However, least I can have my own roof over my head, as my budget can allow me to land in a property there in Consett. I hope I would be climatized :))
