Thoughts?

I love the fact that the large house and the pics show the kids rooms full of toys

OP posts:
DaftFlerken · 12/02/2024 16:47

nope - really dislike the kitchen & that's a big thing for me. Looks like a corridor

Crikeyalmighty · 12/02/2024 17:02

Those floors are going to be buggers to keep clean ! Big house and nice layout- I don't like that area though at all

LakeTiticaca · 12/02/2024 19:35

I don't understand those garage doors. How would you get cars in there?

DrySherry · 12/02/2024 19:49

Chav's Palace, and overpriced.

caringcarer · 12/02/2024 21:40

ShirleyPhallus · 12/02/2024 15:24

i was very confused by the perspective of the garages in the first picture

Its ok. Huge but soulless.

why is it so cheap? Is isle of sheppey a dump?

I wondered why it wasn't more expensive as well.

WaitingfortheTardis · 12/02/2024 21:44

Not exactly cosy.

Fetaa · 12/02/2024 21:45

The trees in the garden are stunning! It’s a house with great potential and the bones of it is great. Dislike the cold white floors and the 80s banister. It’s like my mum (aged 70) has designed a modern house. Should have got an interior designer in to assist maybe.

Fetaa · 12/02/2024 21:46

Wooden floors would have made it so much warmer and cosy whilst modern

maximist · 12/02/2024 21:47

It's like a visitor from the land that taste forgot.

Flipped and well done up in June 2022. They must have spent way more than the 100k difference as it is a big change with 2 rooms knocked through and flooring.

I think I prefer the 2022 version

HarrietSchulenberg · 12/02/2024 21:51

It was much better before the refurb. The new house is hideous but probably a magnet for someone with more money than taste.

Greensleevevssnotnose · 12/02/2024 21:52

I would want more privacy for that price. And more carpet.

Ratfinkstinkypink · 12/02/2024 21:53

It looks like it's been shoe horned into a plot that is too small for its footprint.

DappledThings · 12/02/2024 21:53

It was so much nicer before the current owner's "improvements".

RosesAndHellebores · 12/02/2024 21:58

Why are you asking op?

Silverbirch7 · 12/02/2024 22:02

Gives me the ick

Puddingpieplum · 12/02/2024 22:05

I can't see past the terrible layout and the fucking hideous floor. Was so much nicer before the "refurb".

MissRheingold · 12/02/2024 22:06

Ugly house and the floor looks slippery and will be a very hard surface for a child to fall on.

GoingDownLikeBHS · 12/02/2024 22:07

That's truly awful.

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 12/02/2024 22:09

I don't care for the excess of cold, shiny surfaces and overly large screens. Or the teal and greyness.

I think the children would be a lot better off with actual grass than a soulless room filled with toys. I hope they get to move somewhere nicer when this place sells.

Thmssngvwlsrnd · 12/02/2024 22:15

Looks cold and clinical. Some very unusual light fittings. I don't even like the kids room - the ceiling looks revolting.

LuluBlakey1 · 12/02/2024 22:17

Hideous- tiled floors, fake grass, black doors, cold and soulless and quite vulgar.

WoahWannaDanceWithNoBody · 13/02/2024 07:46

RosesAndHellebores · 12/02/2024 21:58

Why are you asking op?

It'd be a bit awkward if it's their house 😬

GrandHighPoohbah · 13/02/2024 07:50

I would describe it as "mostly soulless greige with a dash of fun for the kids".
