Moving into Kingsbrook, Aylesbury

Hi All, we have seen couple of new builds around Orchard Green, Kingsbrook, Aylesbury. Thinking to proceed further. Checked the distances for schools and local amenities. All seems good. Please share any feedback about the area. Pros and cons please

Mainly looking to move Aylesbury for grammar schools also safe neighborhood. Anybody staying near Kingsbrook?

I have a couple of friends who live on Kingsbrook , really nice houses & a nice estate!

Thank you so much for your response. We are planning to move there. Have seen David Wilson show homes and the area last week. Checked the distance to schools, amenities and activities. Everything looks fine. So thought to check with people over there to get any feedback and any other difficulty in living there.

The only down side to Aylesbury as a whole I think is the traffic!
Town-centre abit run down like all of them but there are still a few shops & we still have an M&S on the High st! 😀

Theatre nice, cinema, lots of independent restaurants, train straight in to London & Birmingham, Oxford from local stations so that's all good.

But HS2 coming in one side & out of the other (luckily no where near Kingsbrook) is causing major traffic issues, it was bad before but it can take more than half an hour to get the 3 miles from one side of town to the other!

If you just accept that where ever you go you will be sat in traffic it's fine. 😀
