I’ll post photos in a minute of our current roof, but I want to know if our conservatory roof could be changed.
Currently it has a high gable ceiling which has polycarbonate panels and is freezing in the winter and boiling in the summer, though the ceiling fan does help with this.
We want to insulate the roof so we can use the conservatory all year round, but feel that as the roof is high up, any insulation added wouldn’t make much difference.
My thoughts are that it would be better for the roof to be sloping to eliminate the windows above the doors, if that makes sense.
Also, I don’t want the roof to take away any light either.
Any thoughts or recommendations?
