How many viewings in the current market?

We listed our house a couple of weeks before Xmas. Only got 2 viewings and some feedback the price was valued too high. We are looking for a quick sale as trying to buy a probate property. Dropped the price by 50k in the new year and only had another 2 viewings off the back of that. Anyone else selling at the moment want to share their experiences? Is this normal or not for the current market? We are just outside london

i’m selling a probate property just outside London. We went back on the market in December after a sale fell through. We’ve had a good number of viewings but they dropped off just before Christmas and are only now beginning to start up again. The school term doesn’t start until next week but n most places so lots of people are still slightly in holiday mood.
