Avant homes Alma place Derbyshire

Hi. Anyone had any experience of the avant new build Alma place? Dd1 is thinking of purchasing but there’s mixed reviews on the builder. I know there’s people who would never buy a new build (I’m one of them) and all that has been discussed and considered

Polite bump for the morning crowd

We brought a new build from a small builder 8 years ago. We have never looked back. It was only 6 houses and we got the biggest garden. It wasn’t cheap but have no regrets. I have brought older of course and did have regrets.

It was nice having a house no one had had their paws on. Our previous house wasn’t left in a good condition and took ages to get straight.

Unless young person is very handy it’s not a bad option for them to get on the housing ladder. Sorry don’t know Derby shire at all.

Don’t even consider one. I’ve had nothing but trouble since June. Nothing right about it and get fobbed off and lied to at every turn. Avoid and run for the hills!!
