This is under the Lino in my 1930s council house kitchen. Is this original parquet flooring?

is it likely to extend across the entire floor?

should I pull the Lino up and somehow try and restore it?

Fabulous, can’t believe they were putting that in council houses back in the day

That’s what has suprised me about it. I didn’t imagine they would put it in a council house, but then again I guess wood is a relatively cheap and durable material!

Sadly they fooled me under all the grime and these are 1960s fake wood tiles. 😂
