Getting new windows done. Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on these two options? It’s for living rooms and bathrooms

We have wooden in the lounge...looks so much nicer, HOWEVER, it's a 1960s bungalow huge windows, low sill and scratched by dogs peeking out. Bathroom,no way,it's actually tiled over now, think of the moisture content and we have a very good extractor plus opening window.

Yes I was thinking maybe low maintenance in bathroom and wooden in lounges

Agree with tiled in bathroom. Ours are painted in living areas but are original to the house (1880-something), so are probably wood.

We sanded off the paint, discovered a very nice wooden windowcill in the living room, kept it,it's got clear satin varnish. I was a lucky "find".Other rooms are cheaper wood so painted apart from the bathroom.
