Buying a house on a hill

Hi, we’ve had an offer accepted on a house which is built part way up a hill. You access it via a short, steep driveway. There’s the house and a flat area of garden and to the side of the house (very close by) the hill continues steeply up. Part of the hill is the garden and it then goes up to public land. The current owners have “netting” along the part of the hill closest to the house but say there has been no land movement. This is one of about 10 houses along the same level and the estate agent says they all either landscape the hill or have similar netting.

The house has been there a reasonably long time (Edwardian) but I’d like to get some professional advice about likelihood of landslides, movement etc. Can anyone advise what profession I need to contact?. I think the surveyor will just look at the house structure?? Grateful for any tips. Thank you.
