Double oven that can go under an induction hob?

Hi, I'm trying to find the make of a built under double oven that can be installed directly under an induction hob. I found some threads here but AFAICT no one actually named a make and model that could perform this magic trick. Thanks for help!!

We wanted just that and we now have a Belling built under oven. They have a lot of choice on their website. I think you need to google ‘built under ovens’ as they are not the same as a double oven that goes halfway up a wall of units.

I just have 2 ovens under mine.

@PollywithaP So you have the induction hob over it? I see lots of built under double ovens but just to have counterspace above them, not hobs. We can't fit two ovens in the space. I'm not even sure what single oven works with an induction hob over it, from looking.

I know my friend has a double oven under her induction hob.

Are you definitely searching for built under ovens rather than built in? Built under are smaller.

I'd have thought it would be easier to put an oven under an induction hob than under gas, which I have always assumed to be deeper. Induction is just the depth of the glass, surely?

Mosaic123 · 27/10/2023 16:42

It's a bit thicker than the thickness of just the glass.

@ReviewingTheSituation I am looking at built under but I don't think just any one of those will do. There needs to be a gap between the top of the oven and the base of the hob, which does go below the counter level I believe. I thought it might be easier to find someone with the actual setup then figure out all the measuring that needs doing and potentially get it wrong. 😂

Yes we do. An induction hob, I think it’s about 5cm depth. That goes in the quartz worktop, then the built under oven and a few cm spare, which you can decide if you want between the worktop and the top of the oven, or the oven and the bottom of the carcass. If you want the space at the bottom you need a metal shelf for the oven to sit on.

Ours is a Belling, we hit it in 2021. We don’t have an induction hob though. It’s the first time we’ve had a double oven that fits. Previously we had oven and grill. This time the top oven is an electric grill and gas oven.

There is room in a standard kitchen set-up for a Neff double oven under a Neff ceramic hob, provided the work top is thick enough (standard laminate does the trick). But I think induction might need more room than ceramic. I wouldn't compromise on my double oven for anything though, its so easy to get stuff in and out of the top oven. And the ceramic hob is fine. Well, better than fine because it has knobs rather than faffy touch-screen controls. Bought this February.
