Second viewing at the weekend and then silence

Had a second viewing on Saturday, buyers had viewed previously back in May, but had to sell 2 properties to buy, which they have now done. So keen that they offered us money to take it off the market back in May (which we declined) but haven't had any feedback from the EA on how the second viewing went on Saturday. How long is usual after a second viewing to hear back/receive an offer?

Within a week, at a guess.
Certainly, i've usually gone back if i'm keen within that time. I'd probably chase the EA tomorrow.
It might just be though, that with rates and mortgages as they are, they're now sitting down and really going through everything? Checking affordability.

The money in May may have been due to a mortgage deal coming to an end.

Hopefully you hear soon!

I would phone the EA to get an update @Iamalittleteapot - they work for you, after all

Hi @Iamalittleteapot
I think they've had enough days to think about it, i would ask EA if they're interested or not. Hope you get a buyer soon x

@Twiglets1 I should phone, but at the moment I still have hope. If I phone and hear that they are not going to offer, that hope of selling is gone. We haven't had any other viewings for ages, the last one was 7 weeks ago!

They probably have alternatives that they are viewing/considering. Hang tight, and if they offer low, be open to negotiation if you want a sale.
