Just that really. There are faded bits and I don't know how to clean it or think about the faded bits until I can find what it is!
Thanks anyone for help!

Can you feel actual grooves between the planks, or is it flat ?

FedUpMumof10YO · 08/09/2023 08:54

Flash power mop will do the job. Looks like wood / poss laminate.

You can feel groves and the gap between pieces

If it's real wood there will be no grain pattern repeats.

The photos look like laminate to me, or maybe Karndean/Amtico. They come in planks so have grooves and gaps.

LVT/Karndean/Amtico is very, very obvious when you look up close (I know people say it isn't, but it is - I have it in my kitchen and even a blind man could tell it wasn't wood from the feel of it.) It's got a clear plastic layer at the top, which is visible up close, and it also has pattern repeats when you compare different tiles around the room.

If it doesn't have that plastic layer it will be either laminate or wood. If you can't see any repeats it will be wood.

That first photo with the rounded edging strip does not look like LVT at all.

Engineered wood? The splintering on the ends doesn't look quite like solid wood to me.
