We move in less than 2 weeks !

We went ahead and exchanged and move on 14th March - arrghh. We are going into rented for 6-12 months and it feels very scary coming off the property market. Do you think house prices will rise, remain static or drop?

I think you are doing exactly the right thing. No one has a crystal ball but a combination of harder-to-get mortgages and general economic pessimism means that the best case scenario is the market remaining static. Even if the market rises very slightly, you won't lose anything since, as someone who is chain-free, you could probably get away with putting in a low offer anyway.

just to say that we move on 14th March too - starting to panic as we have virtually nothing sorted out move wise - bar a few boxes in the spare room.
