I’ve just moved house and we’ve no utility room. We are cutting out a section of the hall to make one with a pocket sliding door. Please show me your utility room for inspo!

it’s already plumbed for WM, I’d love to see your clever use of space

thank you!

We have just renovated. I don't have a pic, but some tips:

  • Have the washing machine raised on a plinth if possible, so you aren't bending down constantly. You can buy storage plinths with drawers for most brands
  • In the sink, I have a hose type option to wash the dog
  • A friend has a clothes dryer that sits almost flat against the wall- then comes down to use as an airer
  • I have this clothes line which is similar, but for outside and doesn't take up too much space

We had one of those when we lived in Australia. Loved it - neat and practical.
