Hi All,

My husband and I are in our early 30s with no children (as of now). My husband have just started his work at Gatwick whereas I work from home. Given the constant train strikes, it has been nightmare to travel around taking over 1hr each way which is making us think to relocate.

Our budget is upto £360k - £400K for 3 bedroom house. .Looking for a bit of countryside yet closer to train connections. Also we are looking to expand our family in the near future therefore good schools and good family environment would be great.

Would really appreciate some guidance here.

Have you tried Horsham? Not sure where you’re located at the moment? Plenty to do there but probably top end of your budget

We have just started searching in Horsham but thank you

Somewhere that is a fairly quick drive to Three Bridges as the trains into central London are so frequent and quick.
Crawley Down perhaps as it’s close to the Worth Way and the schools in the area are also very good.
Horsham is nice but the trains are slower.
Hawards Heath is another possibility.

Ah good luck! Let me know if you have any questions on Horsham as I grew up there :)

Have a look at the schools anywhere where you can get to three bridges station easily. Someone else has already suggested that. ThE oxted area has good schools and isn’t too far from Gatwick if helpful

Aww thank you. There arn't many options in Horsham at the moment but we are keeping our eyes out - appreciate it :)
