Does it work ?? I mean surley the more people there are in the chain, the higher the risk of it all falling apart when someone gets cold feet.

Asking as someone is very interested in my house, but I would not be swapping directly with her as there are currently already 3 people in the chain.

I am going to ring her later, but just wondered if anyone else had ever done this ??

my friends mum ahd done this it all went well but always a risk

Thanks

I suppose there is always a risk however many people are involved, just not sure I could stand getting so far and then it all falling apart. I have already lost one house I really wanted.

Right well, I spoke to the woman interested in my house, and basically she really wants mine, couldn't care less what needs doing to it, she just wants to be back in this area.

The chain at the mo is hugley complicated and not complete, and so I have just told her what sort of house I want and where. If she can find that for me, and they want hers then fab.

I am in no hurry, so will just see what happens.

obviously the more complex the chain the more chances there are of comlications arising if you want to keep your options open you can always look on [www.homeswapper.co.uk] which has a list of people wanting to exchange
good luck
