Buying windows for renovation

Hello, I'm getting stuck with companies to go to to buy windows for our renovation. We're replacing all our windows so it's quite a few. Can anyone recommend a good, not expensive company for aluminium framed windows?

Bump - I know this is really really boring, but I would be so happy if someone could recommend a reasonable alu frame window company 😊

We got a few quotes for aluminium windows but decided to go with wood. However the cheapest ones I found were Glideline and Polish Interior. We are getting our aluminium doors and rooflights from these, and Polish Interior are doing our wood windows. So I haven't yet had experience of them. Polish Interior is on Houzz and Glideline are UK manufactured and have a really good Instagram to get an idea of what their products look like.

I found it all a bit of a minefield, we got some absolutely crazy high quotes, and many people that just didn't get back to us also

We got these when we replaced the nice brown PVC ones that came on our house. The website has a ‘find an installer’ page. They seem good quality (only in for just over a year) and I’d say the price was mid range.

Great, thank you both for your leads! I didn’t think windows would be this tricky!

@PaddingtonBunny I know! I have honestly contacted about 20 companies, and it's just not fun.

To give an idea of price, the aluminium ones from Glideline were £10 k incl vat for two bays, and a casement window. The bay windows each have 5 casement windows as they're large. The single casement has two opening panes. Fitting was on top and about £2k.

We had varying quotes going up to almost £30 k for the same. We were originally planning to do all of the windows, but now are planning just to do these ones that need it the most and reassessing later. Because it was so SO expensive and we have so much left to do on our project!
