Hi,
We are in the early stages of extension planning. This is to replace crappy freezing shoe box currently stuck on.
we are going to a pitched roof extension (kitchen diner inside). Not overlooked - woodland at the end of our garden (rural).
we asked for a lot of glazing an architect presented various options including planar.
initially was very into the planar but there’s only one installer in Scotland so very key person dependent! Also it can’t have opening doors in so the door needs to sit awkwardly to the side…. See sketch.
also attached some pics of alu gable glazing for general idea
weighing up planar vs alu framed gable end glazing with opening (bifold or slider) doors forming bottom section.
has anyone had either recently ? Which would you go for ?
north facing garden.
Thanks :)
