F&B navy blue colour to spray paint kitchen?

Morning :)

so we are buying a house and having the kitchen doors spray painted. I wanted a dark navy blue. I’ve seen loads of photos and think it looks beautiful! I’m just unsure which colour to get it painted. I would like a F&B colour which I know is very popular. Does anyone know the best dark navy blue from them, or the most popular/common one that people choose? I don’t want anything bright blue.

thanks!

The most popular one just now is Hague Blue. I felt it was just too dark for me, so I’ve just decorated with Stiffkey Blue which is lovely

We have Hague blue, it's lovely but it is dark, we have it in a couple of rooms, it's fine in our dual sunlit room but is a tad dark in a SW facing room once the Sun had moved around the house. Cosy though.

We have a wall with Stiffkey Blue, not sure if it's the same for cupboard paint.

We have Inchyra Blue - previous owners did the spray, it looks nice on the brochure but it is too green for the room, I really don't like it - but as is often the case with colour - it's impossible to choose it from the internet - you need to see it in the room.

If you look on eBay, there's normally a seller that does A4 cards painted in F&B colours. Colours look so different depending on orientation of room/time of day.

Little Greene also do some good navys and their paint is better imo.

I have a stiffkey blue island and I’m really pleased with it and purbeck stone on the rest of the units (colour match to F&B). I also have a stiffkey blue dining room (very old beamed north facing small room) and it’s so warm and cosy, I love it. I went for the original F&B estate emulsion for that, it’s the perfect flat texture but it does chip quite easily. Hague blue is beautiful but quite cold. Stiffkey is warm. Little greene also have some lovely navy’s too.

Thank you everyone! I will probably look at stiffkey blue and Hague. I’ll probably order some of those paper samples off eBay too as mentioned by PP - that’s actually so helpful

Look at Little Green’s Hicks Blue. I had my kitchen units resprayed in it a few years and it’s a lovely colour.

Railings looks fab on units but is very dark. We prefer
Little Greene or Fenwick & Tilbrook paints to F&B - quality of paint is amazing.

Have just painted my bedroom feature wall stiffkey blue and after so much fretting about it I’m absolutely in love with the colour. It’s a lovely warm and deep blue, nearly choose Hague blue but so glad we didn’t. Hague blue has a green undertone so that’s something to consider. You can buy tester pots from B&Q which I would recommend because the paper colour chart isn’t that informative in terms of showing the undertones and depth of colour.
